About SPW Brasil
The Brazilian Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (SPW Brasil) is a non-profit civil organization.
Founded in September 2016, SPW Brasil was born from the need to inform about the syndrome, appropriate diets and available treatments.
Our History
After receiving the diagnosis of a daughter with Prader-Willi Syndrome in 2016, a group of parents decided to found SPW Brasil.
The Association is formed by parents who believe it's worth waking up every day and rolling up their sleeves.
Our Mission
To protect and promote the rights of people with Prader-Willi Syndrome, representing them before public organizations.

Family Support
We offer support and care to families
Partnership with Hospital das Clínicas
The association has a treatment center at Instituto da Criança, Hospital das Clínicas de São Paulo.
Follow-ups occur on Friday mornings. The hospital provides all necessary treatment via SUS.
Our Team
The board is formed by parents of children with Prader-Willi Syndrome, working voluntarily.
